Poznámka: Note: | Plukovník Ing. Marek Homola sa narodil 24. januára 1978 v Košiciach. Vyštudoval Vojenskú leteckú akadémiu v Košiciach, odbor pilot bojového lietadla. V roku 2001, sa po absolvovaní kurzu Mi-17 z neho stal pilot vrtuľníka. Počas svojej vojenskej kariéry sa neustále vzdelával a pracoval na svojich odborných vedomostiach, aj absolvovaním kurzov, ako sú veliteľsko – štábny kury AOS LM, špeciálne odborné jazykové kurzy UH-60 Aviator, UH-60 Instructor - Pilot a nakoniec vyšší veliteľsko –štábny kurz. V priebehu svojho vojenského života prešiel rôznymi funkciami od pilota, kapitána vrtuľníka, veliteľa roja, veliteľa letky, zástupcu veliteľa, až po súčasnú funkciu veliteľa 51. krídla Prešov. V priebehu rokov 2003 až 2009 bol nasadený na plnenie úloh v misiách SFOR a EUFOR ALTHEA v Bosne a Hercegovine a KFOR v Kosove. Počas 28 rokov vojenskej služby odlietal 11 617 letov v trvaní 2918 hodín a 55 minút na lietadlách a vrtuľníkoch typu Z42, Z-226, Schweizer, Huges 300, Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-17 a UH-60. | Colonel Ing. Marek Homola was born on January 24, 1978 in Košice. He graduated from the Military Aviation Academy in Košice, majoring as a fighter pilot. In 2001, after completing the Mi-17 course, he became a helicopter pilot. During his military career, he constantly studied and worked on his professional knowledge, also by completing courses such as the command and staff AOS LM courses, special professional language courses UH-60 Aviator, UH-60 Instructor - Pilot and finally the higher command and staff course. In the course of his military life, he went through various functions from pilot, helicopter captain, squadron commander, squadron commander, deputy commander, to the current position of commander of the 51st wing in Prešov.
