| Poznámka: Note: | S prapory domobrany „Pozoblanco“ a „Villafranca“ v lednu 1937, posílené o „Los Pedroches“ a „Garcés“, vznikla 74. smíšená brigáda. Na začátku března brigáda zasáhla do bitvy u Pozoblanca, kdy obsadila břehy řeky Cuzna, až do 15.3, kdy ji národní síly podplukovníka Baturona přinutily k ústupu k Pozoblancu, kde se v následujících bitvách opevnila. V protiofenzívě postupovala 74. smíšená brigáda podél silnice Villaharta, aniž by se mu podařilo obsadit toto město, bráněné jednotkami velitele Hidalga. Nový pokus 17. dubna byl rovněž neúspěšný. Po těchto operacích přistoupilo velení lidové armády k její reorganizaci, přičemž 74. smíšená brigáda byla podřízena 19. divizi. V únoru 1938 se 19. divize přesunula na frontu Teruel jako posila proti národní protiofenzívě, prozatím zůstala v záloze a poté se chystala vyplnit mezeru pri Alfambře. 6. února musela přijít na pomoc 59. smíšené brigádě v Cerro Rodal, jižně od Alfambry, ale byla poražena. Na konci bitvy u Teruelu se 19. divize a s ní 74. smíšená brigáda dostala jižně od Ebra, na výšině řeky Guadalope. Představovala tak jižní konec fronty v aragonské ofenzívě. 11. dubna absolvala těžké boje v Ermita de San Marcos a utrpěla takové ztráty, že musela být 17. dubna stažena z fronty k reorganizaci a zároveň byla podřízena 6. divizi, stojíc na křídle u moře, jako záloha pro divizi. Po protivníkovom útoku na Castellón v dubnu 1938 byla 74. brigáda podřízena 39. divizi v pobřežním sektoru poblíž Vall d'Uxó. Zahájení bitvy na Ebru totálně paralyzovalo dění na této frontě. 74. brigáda bojovala prakticky bez přerušení téměř pět měsíců. Na podzim 1938, když se levantská fronta stabilizovala na linii XYZ, se v srpnu 1938 jednotka pod velením majora domobrany Juana Pujante Galinda vrátila do Extremadury k 47. divizi. 5. ledna 1939 zahájila Republikánská armáda svou poslední ofenzívu. In February 1938, the 19th Division moved to the Teruel Front as a reinforcement against the national counteroffensive, remained in reserve for the time being, and then prepared to fill the gap at Alfambra. On February 6, she had to come to the aid of the 59th Mixed Brigade in Cerro Rodal, south of Alfambra, but was defeated. At the end of the Battle of Teruel, the 19th Division and with it the 74th Mixed Brigade reached south of Ebra, at the height of the Guadalope River. It thus represented the southern end of the front in the Aragonese offensive. On April 11, she suffered heavy fighting in the Ermita de San Marcos and suffered such losses that on April 17 she had to be withdrawn from the front to reorganize and was subordinated to the 6th Division, standing on the wing by the sea, as a backup for the division. After the enemy's attack on Castellón in April 1938, the 74th Brigade was subordinated to the 39th Division in the coastal sector near Vall d'Uxó. The start of the Battle of Ebro totally paralyzed what was happening on this front. The 74th Brigade fought virtually uninterruptedly for almost five months. In the autumn of 1938, when the Levantine front stabilized on the XYZ line, in August 1938 a unit under the command of Major General Juan Pujante Galinda returned to Extremadura to the 47th Division. On January 5, 1939, the Republican Army launched its last offensive. The operation, which had been in preparation since November 1938, now aimed to provide relief to the Catalan forces. In principle, the landing in Motriz and the offensive on the extremadur front was considered with the immediate goal of occupying Leería and possibly Mérida, and more distant, which consisted of dividing the national zone into two parts and reaching the border with Portugal. The offensive was led by the 47th Division and the 74th Mixed Brigade. The 47th Division left Villanueva del Duque and rushed to the Sierra Patuda, broke through the front, occupied the position of the 1st Battalion of the 6th Granada Regiment 22nd Division of the National Forces and continued towards Valsequillo, which it occupied. On January 6, 1939, the advance continued through La Morala and La Granjuela, the next day reaching the front, which included the Coronado, Fuenteovejun and Sierra de los Santos. The 74th Mixed Brigade was located between Aldea de Cuenca and Peraleda, where it stopped and went on defense. On January 8, 1939, the offensive of the Republican forces ended. 26.1. the national forces launched a counteroffensive and tried to deal with the republican brigades, which remained stuck inside a huge pocket. The 74th Mixed Brigade was forced to take over the sector in the Sierra Mariscal, ahead of Los Blázquez, which had already been occupied by the 81st Division of National Forces. The 47th Division, which bore the brunt of the offensive, was also the last to leave the area surrounding Valsequillo. On February 3, 1939, all Republican operations in the area were terminated. Once the brigade recovered with significant losses, the 74th Mixed Brigade was involved in the defense of Victoria during the National Offensive, which began on March 26, 1939. In the Puertollano and Almadén areas, it was captured and disarmed without resistance. |
