Během této doby obsadila madridskou frontu, zejména v sektoru Morata de Tajuña, aniž by se účastnil velkých válečných bitev ani příslušných bojů. Když v březnu 1939 došlo k Casadovu puči, opustila své pozice a odešela do Madridu a později se stala součástí zálohy II. armádního sboru.18. smíšená brigáda zanikla, když se madridská fronta 27. března 1939 vzdala. | The 18th Mixed Brigade was formed in November 1936 in Albacete. The brigade had its baptism of fire in the Battle of Jarama, with heavy losses defending the bank of the Jarama near the Titulcia bridge from February 6 to 8, 1937. In the middle of the battle it was incorporated into Division "C" commanded by Enrique Líster. With "C" Division, he took part in the unsuccessful attacks on Vértice Pingarrón on February 19 and 25. At the end of the Battle of Jaram, it became part of the 9th Division, but soon returned to the northern front. In December 1937, the brigade was assigned to the 15th Division III. Army Corps to return to the 9th Division in June 1938 and finally to the 65th Division. During this time, it occupied the Madrid front, especially in the Morata de Tajuña sector, without taking part in the major battles of the war or the relevant fighting. When the Casado coup took place in March 1939, she left her positions and went to Madrid and later became part of the Reserve II. army corps.18. the mixed brigade ceased to exist when the Madrid front surrendered on 27 March 1939. |
