V protiofenzívě u Meridy si počínala skvěle, překročila Zújar, obsadila Vértice Marroquín a pokračovala do blízkosti Castuery, kde zůstala. Byla reorganizována v Santa Eufemia, zasáhla také do bitvy u Peñarroya, prolomila frontu a dosáhla pohoří Patuda a Trapera, kde zůstala v přední linii až do všeobecného ústupu. | On April 28, 1937, the "Rojo y Negro" regiment from the "Ascaso" division was transformed into the 127th Mixed Brigade at the Huesca front. The unit remained within its division, now called the 28th Division. At the front, she took part in the June offensive on the city of Huesca, as well as the Battle of Belchite, in which he unsuccessfully attacked Zuer from San Mateo de Gállego, Leciñena and Perdiguero on September 28, 1937. While the other two brigades of the 28th Division, 125th and 126th, crossed to the Teruel Front, the 127th Mixed Brigade remained in Alto Aragón as a backup for the Eastern Army. On March 11, 1938, she headed to the front, in the area of Alagón-Oliete. On March 13, 1938, she was expelled from the Andorra, Ariño, and Alloza sectors and withdrew until April 23 between Teruel and Escorihuela. She suffered heavy losses in Sarrion and Albenthos and was withdrawn to Calles to recover. On August 15, 1938, she arrived in Guadalmez on the extremadur front. Here she met the other brigades of her division. In the counter-offensive at Merida, she did great, crossed Zújar, occupied Vértice Marroquín, and continued near Castuera, where she remained. It was reorganized in Santa Eufemia, also intervened in the battle of Peñarroya, broke the front and reached the mountains of Patuda and Trapera, where it remained in the front line until the general retreat. |
